How puzzles are generatedIt is a poor strategy. Every puzzle has one solution reachable by deduction, a wrong digit left on the board costs 20 points, and time spent undoing a bad guess is time bonus you do not get.
How Nines is scoredThe server reconstructs the puzzle from the seed, replays your recorded input, and gates on plausible per-cell timing. Fill-order analysis flags solver-tool patterns, and separate checks look for collusion between players. Puzzles come from a curated in-house pool that is not republished.
